Why did you join the internship? My mom works at the school Next Generation Ministries is partnered with and she got me involved. What have you been learning through this internship?I've learned how to have a better relationship with God. What has been your favorite thing about the internship so far?Going to Pittsburgh and doing human videos.
Dayvon joined this internship to...-Teach him how to be a leader -Make a closer relationship with God -Learn how to do community outreach -Learn how to connect with people What Dayvon enjoys doing in the internship...-Book discussions
-Singing and dancing with children -Learning how to show God's love How Nasir would describe the internship...My experience with being a high school intern has been fun. Being in the program has helped me a lot. It gave me the oppourtunity to spread the word of God all around. Recently, we went to Pittsbugh and visited East End Assembly of God and I had a great time with Pastor Dave York. While we were in Pittsburgh, we got to go to Kennywood and I had so much fun hanging out with my friends. What I really want to say is that it's even thyough I may have some ups and downs in this program, it comes around and it's a really great experience.
Week-by-week in Damir's eyes...-Week 2: "I met new people and did new things. It was my first year here at the internship." -Week 3: "I was looking forward to going to different churches." -Week 4: "The fourth week was talent night and I was so excited to do my mime (masked dance). My whole famly was there to support me." What Damir has learned from this experience..."What I learned is to be a leader and connect with elders and people about their situations."
